Delphi Sample Application – 4Shared MP3 Finder, Player & Downloader

I’m not about to write a long post about this. I’m going to write a litle brief description about this sample application.

• Connect to 4shared.com JSP page and fetch MP3 (I have filtered the results to fetch only MP3) files
• XML fetching using XML.VerySimple library
• Preview (Play) selected MP3 directly from live stream  using bass audio library
• Multi-threaded
• Download and fetch stream data from internet using Windows Winsock API
• Batch download

Right now, the sample application can only download file with no progress notification, so waiting  for a big sized file download could be boring. Therefore here are my to-do’s:

• Download progress notification
• Playing progress notification

I’m not promising, but the to-do’s will be in progress as soon as I have spare time.

This post requires a serious edits, code explanations, etc. May be next time.
